When you join the GroomBuzz waitlist, we may collect:

• Your full name and email address.
• Your phone or WhatsApp number.
• Your city, suburb or general area.
• Whether you are joining as a customer, service provider, or both.
• Grooming services you are interested in or provide.
• Your business or trading name, where applicable.
• Feedback about the problems or features you want GroomBuzz to address.
• Consent, submission and campaign-attribution information.

We may also process limited technical information to protect the website from automated or excessive submissions. GroomBuzz stores a one-way hashed client identifier for rate limiting rather than intentionally storing a raw IP address in the rate-limit table.

We use the information to:

• Register and manage your waitlist interest.
• Send launch, early-access and platform updates where you have consented.
• Understand customer and provider needs while developing GroomBuzz.
• Prioritise services, locations and product features.
• Prevent spam, abuse and excessive submissions.
• Maintain, secure and improve the GroomBuzz platform.
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory duties.

We ask for your consent before registering you for GroomBuzz launch and early-access communication.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting info@groombuzz.co.za. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before the withdrawal.

GroomBuzz does not sell personal information collected through the waitlist.

Information may be processed by carefully selected service providers that help us host, secure, maintain or communicate about GroomBuzz. These providers should only process information as necessary to perform their services.

We may also disclose information where required by law, a lawful regulatory request, or where reasonably necessary to protect GroomBuzz, its users or others.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.

Waitlist information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to manage launch preparation, early access, research and communication, or to meet applicable legal and security requirements.

You may request deletion of your waitlist information by contacting us. We may retain limited information where continued retention is legally required or reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution or record keeping.

Subject to applicable law, you may ask GroomBuzz to:

• Confirm whether we hold information about you.
• Provide access to your personal information.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Delete information that should no longer be held.
• Object to certain processing.
• Withdraw communication consent.
